Canelo Ggg Fight Ends In Draw

Canelo, GGG Fight Ends in Draw

Third Fight Was Much Closer Than the First Two

Canelo Needs Stoppage to Win

In a highly anticipated rematch, Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin fought to a draw on Saturday night in Las Vegas. Both boxers put on a world-class show, but it was GGG who seemed to have the edge in the eyes of many fans.

The judges' scorecards were split, with one judge scoring the fight 115-113 for Golovkin, another scoring it 114-114, and the third scoring it 118-110 for Alvarez. The 118-110 scorecard was widely criticized, as it seemed to be out of line with the action in the ring.

The draw means that Canelo retains his WBA Super, WBC, IBF, and IBO middleweight titles. However, he will need to stop Golovkin in their fourth fight if he wants to win the undisputed middleweight championship.

The fourth fight between Canelo and Golovkin is expected to take place in September. It will be the rubber match in what has been a highly competitive and entertaining rivalry.
